EBU super welterweight champion Cedric Vitu (42-2) will make a voluntary defense of the title on November 21 in Levallois on a MK Events promotion. The opponent is to be announced.
Vitu won the title with a come from behind knockout win over Orlande Fiordigiglio on June 13. It was his second fight of the year. In February he won a six round unanimous decision over Davit Ribakoni.
Vitu is staying very active as of late, fighting four times last year with bouts in March, May, October and November. It will be unlikely that he'll be able to match that number before the year is out, as the next fight leaves a little more than a month before the year's end.
