Cazares vs Morales Title Bout Set For July 3 in Mexico

Mexican warrior Hugo Cazares (31-6-2, 22KOs) will make the first defense of his WBA super flyweight title against Everardo Morales (34-14-2, 23KOs) on July 3 at the Centro de Convenciones in Tlalnepantla, México. Cazares won the title in May from Nobuo Nashiro of Japan. Morales has experience and a decent punch but he loses every time he steps up the level of competition. He was knocked out by Pongsaklek Wonjongkam and Tomas Rojas, and lost a decision to Koki Kameda.
