IBF world lightflyweight champion Johnriel Casimero kept his crown via a 10th round TKO of a game but outclassed Felipe Salguero of Mexico Saturday night at the Makati Coliseum in Makati City, Philippines.

The end came at 1:34 of the 10th canto when Casimero dropped Salguero with a left right combination.

As Salguero fell on his knees, referee Wayne Hedgepeth waved off the fight immediately as it was the Mexican's 3rd trip to the canvas after getting floored once each in the 8th & 9th rounds.

It was not an easy night though for Casimero as Salguero gave the Filipino champion a lot of trouble with his toughness and awkward ways of throwing shots to the head and body.

The win improves Casimero's record to 19-2 with 11 knockouts while Salgueri drops to 18-5-1 with 13 stoppages.
