Lightweight Casey Ramos will fight Jonathan Perez on March 12, Top Rank matchmaker Brad Goodman recently advised BoxingScene.com.

The 10 round bout will take place at the Marriott Convention Center in Burbank, Calif.

Opening the UniMas broadcast will be unbeaten welterweight Arnold Barboza in a six round bout.

Ramos (21-0, 5 KOs) was originally scheduled to fight on March 19 in Houston, Tex., but jumped on the opportunity to headline the 'Solo Boxeo Tecate' broadcast.

It will be the first time the Austin, Tex. resident will fight in a bout scheduled for 10 rounds.

In his last bout on Nov. 20 in Las Vegas, Nev., Ramos won a one-sided eight round decision over Adones Aguelo. Prior to that bout on August 1, Ramos dominated Daniel Evangelista over eight rounds to win a one-sided decision.

Perez (35-13, 28 KOs) has won his last two bouts in a row. The fighter from Barranquilla, Colombia snapped a four-bout losing streak on December 11, defeating former world title challenger Gamalier Rodriguez by decision over eight rounds.

Perez has fought the likes of Abner Mares, Cristian Mijares, and Yenifel Vicente.

Arnold Barboza (10-0, 4 KOs) looked impressive in his last bout on January 30, when he stopped veteran Robbie Cannon in the first round.

The 24 year old resides in the Los Angeles area.
