It was reported by Puerto Rican media outlet Endi, that Carlos Quintana (23-1, 18KOs) is set to return for the first time since being stopped by Miguel Cotto last December.
Quintana's manager Rafael Joglar said that a three-fight deal is being worked out for the United States. The first bout would come in the first week of August, the second may land on the Sept. 29 undercard to Jermain Taylor-Kelly Pavlik in Atlantic City, and the third would be a year-end clash with one of the most highly regarded propsects in the game, Andre Berto (18-0, 16KOs).
