Former Olympian Carlos Negron (14-1 and 10 KO's), who due to contractual problems has not fought since March 2012, plans to return to action in the cruiserweight division in the month of September and will most likely do so in Europe as indicated by the 6'6 fighter who is 26-years-old. He also revealed that he filed a lawsuit against his promoter PR Best Boxing Promotions for breach of contract.
"Thank God I no longer belong to the PR Best Boxing. I was shelved and I've sued for breach of contract in the Bayamón court. But I will leave that to the lawyers. I have plans to return in September as a cruiser," he said.
Negron briefly went up to heavyweight but he was knocked out by Epifanio Mendoza in September of 2011.
