Former Olympian Carlos Negron (15-1, 11 KO's), inactive since December 7, 2013, will return to the ring on September 20 in the state of Florida. Negron, standing at 6'6, started his professional career at cruiserweight and then ascended upwards to heavyweight. There were some contractual issues with promoter PR Best Boxing, which led to a court battle and the breakup of their relationship.

This card is produced by the company World Wide Elite Entertainment, chaired by cruiserweight Francisco 'The Wizard' Palacios (21-2, 13 KO's), who himself will be in action that evening against Alfredo Escalera Jr. (19-4- 1 and 12 KO's). The card comes to life at The Mela Room in Orlando.
