Former Olympian Carlos Negron, who has a record of 10-0 with seven knockouts, will make debut as a heavyweight on January 22, as part of a card to be held in a priosn in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and promoted by PR Best Boxing.

Negron, 23-years-old and standing at 6'6, started his career as a cruiserweight but now plans to move up in weight where he can fully use his height and reach.

The Puerto Rican said he was weighing about 215 pounds and his opponent on January 22 will be an American boxer. He expects to have about five fights in 2011 and wants to crack into the world rankings.
