According to sources in Mexico and Panama, Carlos Cuadras (31-0-1, 25KOs) could defend his WBC super flyweight championship against top contender Luis 'El Nica' Concepcion (32-3, 23KOs)) on February 28th in Mexico.
Concepcion previously held the WBA championship at flyweight and eventually moved up in weight. He currently holds the WBC's silver title at super flyweight, which he captured last August with a seventh round knockout of Duvan Hernandez in Panama. Concepcion has won his last nine fights.
