Two unbeaten fighters from the Phoenix area will fight in separate bouts tonight in their hometown.

In the main event, featherweight Carlos Castro will face Jorge Diaz in an eight round bout at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, Ariz.

Castro (15-0, 6 KOs) is coming off a six round decision win over Eduardo Reyes on February 20. The 22-year-old will be fighting in his first scheduled eight round bout tonight.

On paper, Diaz (18-4-1, 10 KOs) will be Castro's first significant test as a pro. Despite having won only once in his last five bouts, Diaz has faced the better competition between the two.

In his last bout on August 6 of last year, Diaz lost to unbeaten Abraham Lopez, remaining on his stool after the ninth round.

In co-feature action, featherweight Francisco De Vaca squares off against Jose Estrella in an eight round bout.

De Vaca (15-0, 5 KOs) stopped Gustavo Molina in the eighth round of his last fight on May 20, winning a regional title belt in the process.

The 21-year-old has fought all but one of his bouts as a pro at tonight's venue.

Estrella (15-11-1, 10 KOs) has faced a number of unbeaten of unbeaten fighters and prospects, mostly losing by decision. In his last bout on August 5, Estrella won a four round decision over Adrian Ramos, snapping a six-bout losing streak.

In a matchup of unbeaten junior featherweights, Daron Williams (4-0, 2 KOs) and Israel Valdez (2-0, 1 KO) will square off in a four round bout.
