Bantamweight contender Carlos Carlson will fight Heriberto Delgado this Saturday night at the Florentine Gardens in Hollywood, Calif., it was told to BoxingScene.com.

The six round bout will be fought at 126 pounds and will open the 'Solo Boxeo Tecate' telecast on UniMas, beginning at 11 p.m. ET/ PT.

In his last bout on March 7, Carlson (17-1, 11 KOs) stopped Jesus Serrano in the third round in Orange, Calif. Serrano could not continue after injuring his ankle during an exchange in the third round.

Carlson has been unbeaten since losing his professional debut in March of 2011. He is promoted by Thompson Boxing.

Delgado (11-2, 6 KOs) has lost his last two bouts after beginning his pro career with 11 straight wins. Delgado also fought on the same March 7 card, losing to Juan Reyes by knockout in the fifth round.

Both Carlson and Delgado reside and train in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.

In the main event of the Top Rank card, lightweight contender Jose Felix (29-1-1, 24 KOs) will fight Yakabu Amidu (21-6-2, 19 KOs) in a 10 round bout.
