WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch is not worried about the arriving Kelly Pavlik. The former middleweight champion is making a full-time move to the super middleweight division on May 7, when he returns to the ring on the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley undercard at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Pavlik is arriving at the weight with a high ranking under the WBC. Froch is busy with the Super Six tournament and has a scheduled semi-final fight with Glen Johnson on May 21. Once the Super Six is done, Froch has no problem with a Pavlik fight.
"I'm not worried. He would be easy to beat. Pavlik was big and strong at his weight but he would be out of his depth at super-middle. He got handed a massive whooping when he took on Bernard Hopkins," Froch told The Nottingham Post.
