Ubeaten super middleweight Carl Froch is back on the attack, this time around the target is newly crowned WBO champion Denis Inkin. Froch is still sore that Inkin did not go through with their two previously scheduled dates. Froch will get his chance at the vacant WBC super middleweight crown on December 6 against Jean Pascal of Canada at the Trent FM Arena.

Froch said that he watched Inkin's title winning effort and was put to sleep by the lack of excitement in the fight.

"I saw that Joe Calzaghe finally vacated his WBO title literally a couple of days before Denis 'the chicken' Inkin and Columbia's Fulgenico Zuniga fought for the top spot," Froach said. "Denis, our feathered friend, had two opportunities to fight me for the more prestigious WBC version of the world title."

"It was nice to see him fighting again, he must have suddenly overcome his bad back, runny nose, broken toe nail .... or whatever reason he had for not fighting me twice this year. Apparently Inkin won the fight over 12 dull rounds. I can't tell you by how many points as I was fast asleep by the mid point. Cheers Denis, that was the best night's sleep I'd had in while."

Because he was unable to fight Inkin twice, Froch says that he would want his purse up front if a fight with Inkin was back on the table. Then he would knock Inkin out.

"I bet you're wondering if I would agree to fight Inkin again should the question be asked? Well, if they paid me my purse up front, then I'd be more than happy to return the favor ...... and put Denis to sleep!"
