IBF/WBA "regular" super middleweight champion Carl Froch has little to no interest in facing his mandatory challenger, Olympic gold medal winner James DeGale. Last Saturday night before 80,000 at Wembley, Froch knocked out George Groves in eight rounds and DeGale stopped Brandon Gonzales in four to become the mandatory challenger.

Froch doesn't views DeGale as a big fight and he also brings up how DeGale lost a few years ago to Groves, who just lost back to back fights to Froch.

"James DeGale? Yes he is mandatory but I don't need to fight my mandatory and let's not forget that James DeGale lost to St George Groves," Froch told Sky Sports News. "I'll repeat that. George Groves beat James DeGale and I've just absolutely annihilated George Groves so that's not a big fight. James DeGale needs to earn his stripes and fight somebody else before he thinks about fighting me."
