WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch is predicting a dominating victory on Saturday for WBA heavyweight champion David Haye, who defends the title against mandatory challenger John Ruiz in Manchester, England. Haye makes the first defense of the title he won from Nikolai Valuev last year.

Froch is giving Haye most of the advantages over Ruiz, including skill, speed and he thinks people are underestimating Haye's size, power and the ability to stand in there and trade with Ruiz.

"Will he beat Ruiz? Of course he will. I think he will walk through Ruiz and then hopefully get a shot at a Klitschko. He’s too fast, too skillful and if he needs to, David can stand there. He’s proven now he can hold a shot," Froch told The Telegraph .

"He’s very fit; I think he’s put in the extra work he needed to put in to make him a tougher, more durable fighter. He’s developed as a professional. He’s big and strong at heavyweight. He’s not big, but he’s by no means the smallest heavyweight champion of the world we’ve ever had.”
