Two-weight world champion Carl Frampton was an excited recipient of KO8 Fitness’ home training kit this week.
‘The Jackal’ (27-2, 15 KOs) is currently preparing for a legacy-defining tilt at WBO super-featherweight champion Jamal Herring later this year and is in need of versatile training options amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
With huge names such as Billy Joe Saunders, Darren Till and Josh Taylor already championing the suspension-based training system after sessions at KO8 Fitness’ Dubai complex, Frampton is equally impressed as he sets about strength and conditioning work at his home near Belfast.
Frampton said: “You can use this from the comfort of your own home. You can attach it to a door frame or you can go outside to use it if you wish.
“I’ve seen loads and loads of home training kits and never once been impressed with them. This, in my opinion, takes home training to a new level.
“The amount of workouts you can do with it is unbelievable – whether you’re the average Joe who wants to keep fit, whether you’re more serious staying in shape or even for professional athletes. This will take it to the new level.
“Obviously, we’re all under strict regulations from governments all over the world and we can’t go to the gyms and go about daily life as normal but if you want to stay active, I would seriously look into the KO8 training device.”
