Jose "Chepo" Reynoso, manager of junior middleweight contender Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-1-1, 30KOs), says hard puncher Alfredo Angulo and IBF champion Carlos Molina are the only two fighters in the running to face his boxer on March 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Candidates Erislandy Lara, Austin Trout and several others have been ruled out. Canelo returns for the first time since the decision loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. on September 14th.

"I do not dislike [fighting] Angulo because he is strong, he's going to fight, and it would surely be an attractive clash of styles. Boxing all all about styles and that would be a good fight. Molina has the title, he is a good fighter, and demonstrated his skills against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. against Erislandy Lara, Kermit Cintron, Cory Spinks and Ishe Smith. We have said yes to both opponents," Reynoso said.
