T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas - Super welterweight prospect Serhii Bohachuk (5-0, 5 KOs) Stopped overmatched Joan Valenzuela (5-9, 5 KOs) in the second round. Valenzuela went down in the second from a hook to the body and then battered against the ropes until the bout was stopped.
Super lightweight prospect Vergil Ortiz (7-0, 7 KOs) crushed Cesar Valenzuela (7-2, 2 KOs) in two rounds. Valenzuela was dropped twice via hooks to the body. The second time he was counted out.
In the opening bout, United States Olympian Marlen Esparza (3-0) won a six round unanimous decision over Aracely Palacios (8-9, 1 KO) in a flyweight bout. All three judges scored the contest 60-54.
