Jose 'Chepo' Reynoso, manager and coach of former junior middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (42-1-1, 30KOs), said his fighter is already doing some light training for a planned return in the month of March. Canelo last fought on September 14th, where he lost a twelve round majority decision to Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. There are two of the names at the top of Canelo's wish list in 2014 - former three division world champion Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico and WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez of Argentina.

"In two weeks we will meet with Golden Boy, they've shuffled some names and let's see who is available to fight, because sometimes you want a certain opponent but that opponent can not fight. We are interested in Miguel Cotto and Sergio Martinez. Saul is already doing light work, already running in the morning and going to the gym. We plan to return for the month of March, but right now it's simply a matter of talking with the promoter to see the dates that are available," Reynoso said.
