On Monday Florida Governor Ron DeSantis deemed professional wrestling as an "essential business". Although it's not just All Elite Wrestling and the WWE  - there was a memorandum that circulated Thursday which actually deemed all professional sports as "essential services."

The WWE's Wrestlemania 36 took place on April 4th and 5th at the company's Performance Center in Orlando and is the only professional "sport" that has taken place since President Donald Trump issued stay at home guidelines that run through the end of the month.

While we still don't have a date as to when boxing matches will take place again, world class trainer Kevin Cunningham's stable will be ready for action in the near future.

Cunningham's South Florida based Camp Cunningham closed up shop when the President's guidelines were issued but he will be back to work on Monday as several beaches in the state reopened over the weekend.

"The Governor has given professional sports and athletes the green light to go back to work in Florida. My gym is a private gym for professional fighters. So we meet the essential services criteria. Camp Cunningham gym will be open Monday. I can’t wait to get my guys back to work,” Cunningham told BoxingScene.com.

Cunningham's stable of fighters includes Erickson Lubin, Andre Dirrell, Marcos Escudero and several others.
