John Hopoate has withdrawn from his heavyweight fight with Shane Cameron. Cameron is scheduled to return to action on March 18 in Australia. There was a lot trash being flung between the two fighters. Cameron signed his side of the contract. Hopoate never signed. Cameron returns for the first time since being destroyed by David Tua in two rounds.

"I guess his heart wasn't big enough, eh," said Cameron told Sunday News. "He said he was going to take the fight and he called me out a little while ago. He then agreed on the fight but didn't sign the contract. He clearly doesn't want to face me."

Cameron will now fight Australian boxer Michael Kirby (6-3, 4KOs). Kirby doesn't have the experience but Australian boxing writers say he does have power in both hands.
