Since dominating undefeated Jeff Lacy in their super middleweight unification bout last Saturday, Calzaghe has become a superstar on both sides of the ocean. While Calzaghe gets geared up to lead the Wales rugby team out against Italy this weekend, his promoter Frank Warren is making moves to secure a bout against light heavyweight Roy Jones Jr., to take place on July 8.
Warren has told several media sources in the UK that Calzaghe's next bout will take place in Cardiff, which means Jones is going to have to make the trip across the ocean if the fight were to happen. In the past, Jones has been very vocal about his reluctance of fighting outside of the United States, but may decide to make the trip at this late stage of his career.
