ECHO Arena, Liverpool, England –– Scott Fitzgerald made it two stoppages from two in the pro game with a one-sided beating of Robert Studzinski.

The Commonwealth Games gold medal-winner, who made a successful start in the paid code last month on the undercard of Carl Frampton’s super bantamweight world title unification showdown against Scott Quigg at Manchester Arena, ended the challenge of the veteran Welsh-based Pole inside two rounds.

Fitzgerald, 24, was handed the victory, on the undercard of Callum Smith’s WBC super middleweight title final eliminator clash against Hadillah Mohoumadi, which is also for the Frenchman’s European crown, at the Liverpool ECHO Arena, after a barrage of shots forced Phil Edwards between the pair.

He was set to turn pro at the same venue in November of last year, as part of the bill on which the aforementioned Smith iced Rocky Fielding –– who is also on tonight’s bill –– inside a round to win the British title, but the Preston man’s bow was put on hold he suffered a broken thumb in training.

Elsewhere, Reece Bellotti boxed stupendously as he went the distance with a game Nicaraguan.

The 25-year-old former double ABA champion, who is nicknamed ‘The Bomber’ impressed promoter Eddie Hearn as he continued to show his class by moving to 6-0 (5 KOs).

Bellotti, who campaigns at featherweight and is from Watford, got his hand raised by referee Mark Lyson after the bloodied Julio Buitrago, who slips to 13-19 (3 KOs), was retired by his corner at the end of the sixth round.

And Ryan Mulcahy moved to 4-0 with a routine points win over Jamie Gorman, who slips to 8-18-1 (3 KOs), of Belfast.

‘The Monk’, who has two stoppages to his name, got the nod by 40 points to 36 and is next expected to appear in a ring on April 23, at the Devonshire Dome in Buxton, Derbyshire, on a show being promoted by his manager Steve Wood.

Marcus Morrison produced a blistering one-round stoppage to maintain his unbeaten record and move into double figures.

The 23-year-old, who ousted Istvan Kiss in 145 seconds last month, made it back-to-back first round wins and seven stoppages with victory over the vastly overmatched Janos Varga (20-31-2, 15 KOs) of Hungary, on the undercard of the WBC super middleweight title final eliminator clash between Callum Smith and Hadillah Mohoumadi at Liverpool’s ECHO Arena, live on Sky Sports.

Morrison, who now has five stoppages in the first stanza, unleashed a barrage of unanswered shots and forcing referee Phil Edwards to step in after just two minutes and 48 seconds.

He will be back in action in five weeks’ time –– on May 7 –– at Manchester Arena as part of the undercard to Anthony Crolla’s defence of the WBA lightweight crown against Venezuelan mandatory challenger Ismael Barroso.

Elsewhere, Gerard Carroll got his professional career off to a flyer with a convincing points win.

The former Salisbury ABC amateur, 24, got the better of Youssef Al Hamidi over four rounds, with Mark Lyson in the middle.

‘The G-Man’, who now trains at No Limits gym in the city and is managed by MGM Marbella, outclassed his Dewsbury-based opponent (13-87-3, 1 KO), using his jab to good effect to produce a one-sided display and show promoter Eddie Hearn, who was watching from ringside, that he is one for the future.

And his gym-mate Tom Farrell extended his undefeated run in the pro game to eight fights, with two stoppages, after a routine points win over Mark McKray (6-34-1, 5 KOs), which he got on referee Phil Edwards’ scorecard by a margin of three points (59-56).
