Rogelio Espino, manager of WBA/IBF super bantamweight champion Celestino Caballero, says that his fighter will look to other options, likely in the featherweight division, if WBO champion Juan Manuel Lopez refuses to unify with them.

"Since Lopez insists that a fight with Celestino does not bring any money, then we are going to look at other options.  We are interested in putting Celestino in against the best fighters in the world," said Espino to Primera Hora.

The next move will likely be a jump in weight to featherweight. They tried to make a fight with WBA "regular" featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa but the negotiations never took off.

"At 122 there are not many alternatives that represent good money. We are evaluating a rise in weight. We spoke with Yuriorkis Gamboa, but at the last minute nothing happened," said Espino.
