Super bantamweight champion Celestino Caballero spoke with BoxingScene.com's official audio show, Leave It In The Ring Radio, and spoke about his frustrations with being unable to get fights against featherweight champions Juan Manuel Lopez and Yuriorkis Gamboa.
"The boxing business is not about making good fights with good boxers any more, but it's more about managers looking to make money against boxers who are not the best quality out there," Caballero said.
"I'll fight with anyone, both Juanma and Gamboa claim they are the best and I want to fight the best. They might not want to fight me because any fighter who faces Celstino Caballero will receive a lot of punishment."
Caballero has chased Juanma for a very long time. He doesn't exactly think Juanma is ducking him. He blames Juanma's team. There was talk of a fight with Gamboa, but Gamboa's team asked for too much money.
"Juanma's team doesn't want to risk him facing me because I'm a dangerous fighter. My team and Gamboa's team have talked about the fight and on Gamboa's side, they want too much money," Caballero said.
"If they say they are so good, then why don't they come and fight with me."
