Burns-Crawford Heading To The Hydro on February 8th

The Glasgow Evening Times reports that Ricky Burns' mandatory defense of the WBO lightweight championship will land on February 8th at the Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. The venue holds 13,000 fans. It was reported on BoxingScene.com a few days ago that Burns' promoter, Eddie Hearn, reached an agreement with Top Rank for a mandatory defense against undefeated Terence Crawford (22-0, 16KOs). Burns (36-2-1, 11KOs) will return for the first time since suffering a broken jaw in his twelve round draw against Ray Beltron in September.
