BoxingScene.com has been advised that Golden Boy Promotions has secured the rights to the IBF's final junior middleweight eliminator between Cornelius "K9" Bundrade (32-5, 19KOs) and Joey "Twinkle Fingers" Hernandez (23-1-1, 13KOs).

Bundradge lost the IBF title for Ishe Smith by way of a twelve round majority decision in February, but then Smith lost the belt to Carlos Molina on the Mayweather-Canelo undercard on September 14th. Hernandez, who recently broke away from promoter Don King, has been inactive since last November's decision win over James Winchester.

Ramiro Gonzalez, representing Golden Boy as the sole bidder, placed down the winning bid of $11,000 dollars.

Ramiro extends his streak of purse bid wins to 7-0. BoxingScene was told, by sources who were present, that Ramiro went through his pre-bid ritual of lighting a candle, doing five one-handed pushups and rubbing an old Mexican bingo card that he found on an old burial site in Culiacan, Mexico.

After guaranteeing that nobody would show up to bid against him, Ramiro pulled out the check, which he concealed inside his left sock. The latest win by Ramiro received a standing obviation from the members of the IBF.
