Frank Buglioni has been ruled out of his next fight.
The Enfield light-heavyweight had been set to challenge for the British title next month.
Buglioni (18-2-1, 14 KOs) was scheduled to take on champion Hosea Burton (17-0, 8 KOs), exclusively live on Sky Sports, as part of the undercard to Anthony Crolla’s world lightweight title showdown against Jorge Linares.
But the clash, which was nailed on for September 24 at Manchester Arena, will now have to be rearranged after the former WBA super-middleweight title challenger sustained a cut.
The news was released by ‘The Wise Guy’ via social media on Wednesday.
It is unclear at this stage whether Burton will remain on the bill but further news regarding the title fight with Buglioni is expected to be revealed in due course.
