Heavyweight: After another very impressive win, Anthony Joshua enters the top ten, forcing out Tomasz Adamek. Some might say it’s too early. It says here this is the best looking new Heavyweight since Wladimir Klitschko hit the scene and in a pool of average, the talent gets the nod.
Cruiserweight: Grigory Drozd continues a serious roll, now holding a title in class with a win over previous #2 Wlodarczyk. It was enough to boost Drozd past Denis Lebedev, despite Lebedev winning by knockout on the same card.
Light Heavyweight: Artur Beterbiev arrives in the top ten with a statement win over former titlist Tavoris Cloud. The future may be now at only six fights into a professional career.
Middleweight: Jermain Taylor’s win over Sam Soliman sees him return to the Middleweight ratings for the first time in years. Hasan N’Dam N’Jikam gets a bump over Marco Antonio Rubio for his win over Curtis Stevens and Rubio exits. Rubio has a chance to return against Gennady Golovkin shortly.
Jr. Middleweight: Cornelius Bundrage’s win over Carlos Molina sees him return to the top ten and shakes up the rest of the ratings. James Kirkland is bumped from the top ten.
Bantamweight: While few have seen it, the result reads Juan Carlos Payano getting the cut shortened win over Anselmo Moreno, the longtime leader at 118. Payano enters the top ten. Paul Butler is forced out.
Strawweight: Knockout CP Freshmart gets the upset over previously undefeated Carlos Buitrago. He enters the ratings, everyone else drops, and Ryuji Hara is forced out.
