Paterson, NJ - Two highly-regarded junior welterweight prospects will put their reputations on the line when Jeremy Bryan (14-1, 7 KO) of Paterson, NJ faces off with Bethlehem, PA's Ronald Cruz (9-0, 6 KO) in an eight round clash on October 30 at Bally’s Atlantic City.
The event, which will be promoted by Pound for Pound Promotions, will be headlined by New Brunswick, NJ's Jorge Diaz (14-0, 9 KO) facing former world title challenger Emmanuel Lucero (24-5-1, 14 KO) of Scranton, PA in a ten round featherweight bout.
Bryan, who like Cruz is 24 years old, is a two-time National Golden Gloves champion (2004, 2005). Bryan is out to make a statement following his controversial loss to Vincent Arroyo in April.
"I'm coming in to steal the show," says Bryan. "I have a point to make after my last fight in Atlantic City and the only way to make it is by taking tough fights. Cruz is a very good fighter, and that will only bring out the best in me."
