A pair of once-beaten junior welterweights will face each other in the main event on January 30.

Bryan Flores, 27-1-1 (16 KOs), will step in against Starling Castillo, 20-1-1 (13 KOs), in the headline bout on ProBox TV at the Live! Casino and Hotel Maryland in Hanover, according to the promoter’s website.

(Note: BoxingScene and ProBox TV are both owned by Garry Jonas)

Flores, a 29-year-old from Mexico, lost a split decision to Lindolfo Delgado in August 2024. Flores returned this past May with a second-round TKO victory over the 18-2-1 Hernan Leandro Carrizo.

Castillo, a 30-year-old from the Dominican Republic, was dropped twice in the opening round of a wide decision loss to the 10-0 Otar Eranosyan in early 2022. He’s gone 4-0-1 since then – the draw came in October 2022 against the 14-0 Kenny De Leon. Most recently, Castillo outpointed the 21-2-1 Shinard Bunch in August.

In the co-feature, featherweight Sulaiman Segawa will take on the undefeated Rene Palacios.

Segawa, 18-5-1 (7 KOs), is fighting for just the second time since his majority decision defeat to Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington in September 2024. Segawa fought this past September, winning via TKO7 against the 20-1 Bryan Acosta.

Palacios, 18-0-1 (10 KOs), scored a third-round knockout in August over the 20-8-2 Rafael Rosas Ramirez.

Also scheduled for this card: junior lightweight prospect Francois Scarboro Jnr, 12-0 (9 KOs), against Humberto Galindo, 14-4-3 (11 KOs), and welterweight Elijah Flores, 10-0 (4 KOs), against Thanjhae Teasley, 13-0 (6 KOs)
