Former IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (37-2, 26 KOs) is ready for anyone and everyone at junior middleweight
After suffering back to back knockout defeats, Brook came back in form on Saturday night in Sheffield.
In his junior middleweight debut, it only took Brook two rounds to score a knockout victory over the usually durable Sergey Rabchenko.
Now with his confidence back, the Sheffield boxer wants something a bit bigger for his next outing.
"I'm a massive threat. Nobody's ever done that to Rabchenko. He's a respected champion and I destroyed him in two round with ease," Brook told Sky Sports.
"I feel great a few pounds heavier. It's still new territory. I'm going to get back in the gym, learn again and get comfortable with this weight. I'm going to improve fight after fight.
"I'm putting the champions on notice. I'm here at 154 pounds and I'm excited."
It was Brook's first bout since his TKO defeat at the hands of Errol Spence in May of 2017. In that contest, Brook suffered a fractured orbital bone and had to undergo surgery. He suffered an identical injury in his previous fight, when he jumped all the way to middleweight to challenge Gennady Golovkin in September of 2016. Golovkin traveled over to the UK to stop him in five rounds.
The current champions all have upcoming assignments. WBA champion Erislandy Lara and IBF champion Jarrett Hurd are scheduled to unify next month. WBO champion Sadaml Ali is going to face his mandatory challenger Liam Smith in May. And WBC champion Jermell Charlo is going to make a defense of his title on June 9th in Los Angeles. Charlo's opponent has yet to be determined, but it's unlikely that Brook will travel over to face him in an undercard role to the Leo Santa Cruz vs. Abner Mares rematch.
