Oakland, California - There was an unexpected confrontation at the Andre Ward vs. Chad Dawson weigh-in, which took place at the Oakland City Center. WBC interim-welterweight contender Robert Guerrero (30-1-1, 18KOs), and undefeated lightweight contender Adrien Broner (24-0, 20Ks), went face to face as a crowd of onlookers charged in. The two fighters have been trading words for the last few weeks on Twitter and fired verbal shots at each other through several published articles.

It was hard to tell what was being said, but Guerrero spoke to BoxingScene.com after Broner and his crew walked away.

"He's been saying all of this stuff, challenging me and calling me out, so I heard he was down here and I wanted to pay him a little visit. The one thing that made me laugh, he said 'I still got my '0' - but I told him that if he wants a challenge - let's do this at 147. I got the title, let's make it happen. And he said 'oh, send over the contract' - and throughout the whole thing, he wouldn't make any eye contract at all. It's funny when someone talks looking the other way," Guerrero told BoxingScene.com.
