The last we saw of Brian Viloria he was getting stopped in nine rounds by Roman Gonzalez for the WBC flyweight title last October at the Madison Square Garden in New York. 'the Hawaiian Punch' who has won multiple titles at 108 and 112 pounds is ready to make one last title run.

Viloria's manager, Gary Gittlesohn tells BoxingScene.com: "I couldn't be more excited to be working with Mr.(Akihiko) Honda and Teiken Promotions. Throughout Brian's career we've looked for an opportunity to work with him and finally the opportunity is here. Brian is still campaigning at flyweight and Mr. Honda will help him get to a position to fight for another world title and have another world title run."

There is a very good chance that Viloria's next few fights will be in Japan, where Teiken Promotions is based. Gittlesohn says he will meet with Honda again early next week to iron out the final details of this agreement.

"But we're in agreement that Teiken will be promoting him. I'm sure Mr. Honda is going to want to know when he's going to be available to fight. I'm hoping to get him back in the ring in a meaningful fight by January,''said Gittlesohn.

The soon-to-be 36 year old Viloria, who represented the United States in the 2000 Olympic Games, has a career mark of 36-5(22 KO's)
