Breidis Prescott-Fredrick Lawson on 3/26, ESPN FNF

By Steve Kim

The 'Friday Night Schedule' for the first quarter of 2015 is slowly coming together piece by piece. Brian Kweder, Sr. Director, Programming & Acquisitions at ESPN, has confirmed to BoxingScene.com that a bout between Breidis Prescott (27-6, 20KOs) and Fredrick Lawson (23-0, 20KOs) has been scheduled for March 26th at the Hialeah Park Racing and Casino in Hialeah, Florida.

The 31 year old Prescott, who has a record of 27-6 is coming of a disputed ten-round loss to Robert Garcia this past July. Prescott is best known for his first round stoppage of Amir Khan back in 2008. In Lawson, he's facing a 25-0(20 KO's) Ghanian who just defeated Ray Narh back in October.

This telecast on ESPN2 will take place on a Thursday night because of a scheduling conflict with the NCAA women's basketball tournament.
