BoxingScene.com has heard minor rumblings involving lightweight contender Breidis Prescott fighting on the Amir Khan-Paulie Malignaggi undercard on May 15 at the WaMu Theater in New York's Madison Square Garden. Prescott is the only fighter to beat Khan, and did so with a 54-second knockout in their 2008 encounter.

When reached for comment, promoter Lou DiBella would not confirm, or deny, the rumors about Prescott's possible appearance on the undercard. DiBella is co-promoting the show with Golden Boy Promotions and Khan Promotions.

"I can't comment on that at the moment, but if Breidis Prescott wants to show up at the weigh-in to reunite with Amir, or sit ringside at the fight, I will gladly issue him a credential," DiBella told BoxingScene.com.
