Former champion Brandon Rios is riding a two fight win streak since losing a twelve round decision to Manny Pacquiao in the fall of 2013.

The hottest topic in boxing is a possible fight between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. for May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Their respective camps have been negotiating for the last few weeks and hope to reach an agreement.

When giving his thoughts on the fight, Rios tabbed Mayweather to win - because he says the pound-for-pound king is too smart, too defensive and won't do anything stupid with Pacquiao.

"It feels wrong for me to say this but I think Floyd beats Manny Pacquiao. Floyd is just a very defensive fighter, he’s got so many skills, he’s been in so many positions and he does have that skill. I do believe that Floyd beats him. I think [beats him by] decision, I don’t see nothing else. I think it would just be a decision because Floyd is too smart to do anything else. He’s not gonna take a risk and try to get hurt himself," Rios told On The Ropes Boxing Radio.
