There´s a lot at stake for EBU light heavyweight champ Jurgen Brahmer on Saturday in Oberhausen, as a win over Italian Antonio Brancalion will secure him a shot at WBO king Zsolt Erdei. Nothing official yet from Universum but the working date is September 26 with site to be announced.

Welterweight Viktor Plotnikov headlines the next K 2 East promotion which goes ahead in Kiev on June 27 and faces Sherzodbek Alimjanov from Uzbekistan. Heavyweight Andrey Rudenko and jr welter Kostya Rovenskiy face opponents to be announced in featured bouts.

EBU featherweight champ Oleg Yefimovich defends the title against mandatory challenger, Brit Michael Hunter, in September in Donetsk, Ukraine. 

Ubeaten jr welterweight Jo Jo Dan, based in Canada, is back home in Romania and defends the NABA and WBC Continental titles against Argentinian Walter Sergio Gomez tomorrow (June 5) in Bucharest.

Finnish Caramelito Promotions stage an outdoor pro-am show in Ulvila on August 8. Heavyweight Janne Katajisto, who holds amateur wins over both Robert Helenius and Juho Haapoja will make his pro debut on this show.

It hasn´t been reported until now but knock-out.dk writes that once touted Danish jr middle Ahmed Kaddour is now residing in Copenhagen after a few years in the US - while over there Ahmed landed a spot in the first Contender series losing to Ishe Smith and Alfonso Gomez. Back home Kaddour signed with Robert Larsen but the two have now split. Ahmed, an impressive 20-2-1, is still looking to come back.
