The next "Universum Champions Night" will be in the Hanseatic city of Rostock. The super middleweight contenders Jürgen Brähmer (29-1, 23 KOs) and Mario Veit (49-3, 23 KOs) will meet in a highly charged rematch on September 15 at the Stadthalle.
 
Mario Veit upset Jürgen Brähmer 13 months ago in a clash for the WBC International title and the German "100 Year Talent" Brähmer says he has improved since then.

The loss to Veit was Brähmer's first and only defeat and he has won two straight since. The first was a spectacular eighth round KO against Francisco Mora, followed by a very tough twelve round decision over former world champion Hector Javier Velazco for the WBO intercontinental belt. A bout in which Brähmer recovered from a knockdown to win.

Since his loss of his WBC Int'l title to Universum collegue Denis Inkin, the former interim world champion Veit is again on his way up after a shutout win over Valentin Antonio Ochoa in April.
