Joel Diaz, the trainer of WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (31-0, 12KOs), said their team has no problem with having a rematch with former four division world chmapion Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1, 40KOs). On October 12th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Bradley won a twelve round split decision over Marquez.
After the match, Marquez and his trainer Nacho Beristain felt they were robbed and demanded a rematch.
"A second fight with Marquez would be easier for us because he's not going to change. At his age, his strategy will be the same, the style will be the same. However, Bradley can make adjustments because he has the youth and the ability to do it. He thinks he is going to get rematch after rematch like he did with Pacquiao, so he could finally put Bradley away, but that won't happen," Diaz said.
