WBO-interim welterweight champion Timothy Bradley is very willing to do a trilogy fight with eight division king Manny Pacquiao.
Bradley won a very controversial decision over Pacquiao in 2012 to capture WBO gold. Pacquiao got revenge in 2014, winning a twelve round decision over Bradley to get the title back.
This past Saturday night at the StubHub Center in Carson, California - Bradley came a step closer to regaining that belt by winning a decision over Jessie Vargas to gain the WBO-interim title. Floyd Mayweather holds the full belt, after beating Pacquiao last month, and has until this week to decide if he intends to keep it.
Bradley wants a tie-breaker with Pacquiao, who is expected back to the ring in late 2015 or early 2016.
"Manny feels that he could have done better against Mayweather if he would have had his left hand, and I feel I would have done a lot better in the second fight if I would have had my right calf, to be able to move and do the things that I was planning on doing," Bradley told On The Ropes Boxing Radio .
"The second half of the fight I could have used my legs more if I had my legs underneath me and moved and made Manny Pacquiao miss more. But I didn’t have that ability, I didn’t have that mobility to be able to do that. Of course, I wouldn’t mind a third match up with Manny Pacquiao, let’s run it back. I know if I’m injury free during the course of the fight, I know it will be a better outcome."
