As Tim Bradley and Jesse Vargas prepare for their June 27th welterweight showdown, both will be undergoing VADA (Voluntary Anti-Doping Association) testing. Bradley has been a regular participant and strong advocate of VADA in recent years.
"Both Timothy Bradley and Jessie Vargas have enrolled in VADA through June 27th. It will be Jessie's first time in the program and Bradley's 4th. We're honored to have them promote clean sport and have always been happy to work with the CSAC & Andy Foster, who's a strong proponent for clean sport," said Dr. Margaret Goodman, the president of VADA.
Bradley-Vargas will take place at the StubHub Center in Carson, California and be televised on HBO.
