Bradley Skeete looks set to box in Wales for the second time on the bounce.
The British welterweight champion is scheduled to make a defence of his belt when he returns to the ring.
Skeete (24-1, 11 KOs) looks set to do it in the same location as he fought last month.
The Penge man stopped Alex Lepelley of France inside seven rounds in Cardiff, at the Ice Arena, on July 16, exclusively live on BoxNation.
And it appears as though he will once again make an appearance in Cardiff, this time at the Motorpoint Arena, on October 22.
According to the latest British Boxing Board of Control circular, which was sent out to relevant parties on Thursday, Skeete will make a mandatory defence of his Lonsdale belt against Shayne Singleton of Colne (23-1, 8 KOs), who is the WBC International Silver champion, as part of the supporting cast to Liam Williams’ next fight.
Singleton’s last outing was an eight-round stoppage of Adil Anwar at Manchester Arena in May to win that aforementioned fringe WBC bauble.
Official confirmation of the show, from Frank Warren’s office, is expected in due course, along with the finer details of the headline contest and further names for the bill.
