WBO welterweight world champion Tim Bradley (32-1-1, 12KOs) wouldn't go quite as far as to say that his upcoming fight against Brandon Rios (33-2-1, 24KOs) will equal the sheer brutality of his 2013 Fight of the Year against Ruslan Provodnikov.
He did however say that it will be an explosive fight and that he never avoids any opponent.
The HBO televised fight takes place on November 7th from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
"It is a tough fight man. I never take on easy opponents. I always fight the best available guy that is out there," Bradley explained. "Brandon Rios wanted to fight me and hey I told you if you pay me I will fight anybody. The fight is going to be explosive. The fight fans know what to expect. They know what I bring and what Rios bring - nonstop action."
When the fight was originally being negotiated, it fell apart when Bradley's monetary demands weren't satisfied. Bradley said that was strictly a business decision and that he never had any problem facing Rios.
"It is a tough fight. You guys know me, man. I always have tough fights. People were saying that I was ducking Brandon Rios but I don't duck nobody," Bradley told BoxingScene.com.
