There is a lot of talk of a potential bout between Tim Bradley, the newly minted WBO welterweight titlist, and former beltholder Brandon Rios.
In theory it should be a relatively easy fight to make given that both are promoted by Top Rank. The only issue that might be holding that fight back is the HBO budget. Word in the industry is that after spending heavily in the first half of 2015, the network does not have much left to spend.
But Arum tells BoxingScene.com - "I'm not going to be victim to their budget constraints, they'll find the money for a fight like that. I'm not concerned."
He added,"I will get that fight done, remember, their budgets are their budgets but we just finished making them a sh*t-load of money on the Pacquiao fight. So we want to see some of that back."
As for when this clash may take place, Arum stated - "November 7th is a possible date, the 28th, or the first weekend of December. I don't care, whichever date they want. I want to make sure I have a building in Southern California for whatever date we do."
