WBO junior welterweight Timothy Bradley on Thursday said he would love to step in and take a shot at Pacquiao. Although Bradley's co-promoter, Gary Shaw, had said he would require the same testing of Pacquiao the Mayweather camp is asking for, Bradley said that is not the case and that he would be fine with the tests given by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, and saw no reason for United States Anti-Doping Agency to be involved. The site is MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
"What is the commission for?" Bradley said to BoxingScene.com. "They're there and they're going to do their job and they're going to make sure no one is cheating. They take a (urinalysis) drug test before and after the fight. I think that's perfect."
Bradley, coming off a hard-fought but one-sided victory over Lamont Peterson, said he does not think Pacquiao has been using performance-enhancing drugs.
"He's just on top of his game," Bradley said.
BoxingScene has learned that Bradley is another name very high in the running [on Top Rank's list] to replace Mayweather on March 13.
