WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (30-0, 12KOs) was very impressed after sparring junior welterweight puncher Lucas Matthysse (34-3, 32KOs). The two boxers sparred prior to Matthysse's bout with WBA/WBC champion Danny Garcia on September 14th in Las Vegas. Garcia won a twelve round unanimous decision. Bradley will face Mexican icon Juan Manuel Marquez on October 12th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
"It was a good little sparring session. He didn't try to kill me, I didn't try to kill him. We just exchanged some good punches. He has a tremendous left hand. He can punch really hard with his left hand, I can tell you that. It was a great experience for me," Bradley said.
