In separate articles on BoxingScene.com, champions Juan Manuel Marquez and Timothy expressing an interest in facing each other. The potential match up could possibly happen if neither fighter wins the Manny Pacquiao sweepstakes.  In the most recent article, Marquez said that Bradley was a more difficult match-up for him than what Pacquiao presented in their trilogy.  When asked about that statement, Bradley was taken aback.
 
"That's a weird statement. I think he says that just because he hasn't faced me and he's faced Manny before so he is familiar with his style," explained Bradley.  "He hasn't fought me before.  I am a short, strong, durable guy. He is just saying that this guy (Bradley) is a handful and tough to deal with," Bradley continued.
 
The Southern California native praised Marquez for his accomplishments in the sport.  While he respects the Mexican, Bradley feels that he has what it takes to defeat the three division champion.  He also revealed to BoxingScene that he has wanted to face Marquez for quite some time.
 
"Let's make it happen. I told my wife to call Cameron (Dunkin) and tell him to make it happen. That is a fight that I have wanted for a long time. He's a great, great fighter and a legend but I see things that I can capitalize on," Bradley concluded.
