The more things change…
…well, in the mythical pound-for-pound race, they haven’t changed much at all lately. Staggered schedules and the dog days of summer haven’t left much wiggle room. Wladimir Klitschko kept the Heavyweight crown in July, and thus kept his slot, while British sensation Amir Khan made a case that he might be ready for a place of his own.
Did he get it? With names like Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather, Bernard Hopkins, and Carl Froch all looking at serious challenges in the fall, some of them against other men on this list, change is surely coming.
Let’s get ready for the journey.
