Jr. Middleweight: Canelo Alvarez flips spots with Erislandy Lara after their hotly debated split decision in non-title action.  Lara retains his belt. Floyd Mayweather remains the division’s champion though if he ever intends to fight there again remains to be seen.

Jr. Welterweight: Chris Algieri’s upset of Ruslan Provodnikov sees him enter the top ten and forces Viktor Postol out of the ratings.

Bantamweight: Tomoki Kameda’s knockout of former titlist Pungluang Sor Singyu earns him a boost into the division’s top three, notably ahead of older brother Koki.

Jr. Bantamweight: Zolani Tete moves up with a unanimous decision win for the IBF title.

Flyweight: Brian Viloria stays put in the top ten with his latest win but consider the strangeness of boxing.  Viloria fought on the undercard of China’s Zou Shiming.  Shiming may have a more immediate track to a title fight, at 5-0, than Viloria does two fights after losing a pair of Flyweight titles in an excellent fight.

No, really.
